My name is Lambang, but people call me ‘Lam’. I am originally from Java, Indonesia. I then moved to Cape Town, South Africa where I built up a significant handyman business over several years. I emigrated to Australia and live and work in Rose Bay.
I have worked as a “handyman” in Indonesia, the UK, South Africa and now Sydney. Handyman work - often repairing things but including light building, painting and timber work - can be thought of as a task. However I think of it as a craft. To that end I bring a passion, sensibility and artistic care to any work I do: whether it’s repairing a gate, fixing a washing machine or building a wall.
I’m also mindful that customers are often concerned about handymen’s reliability and competency. My university degree in accounting combined with a natural attention to detail means I arrive on time, work methodically and carefully and will charge you fairly.
If this is not your experience I’ll take the feedback and moreover, make good on the job.
